2007/2008 Season.

Well again a year of upsets for the TAK. We were pipped at the post for the new play off games for the finals. Losing some unnecessary games during the year cost us dearly. We picked up some new talent in Alton Carmine and Geoff DeLaine but we have also last some staunch Kai Tak players in Mal Brown, Andy Bester and Matt Poole. No Silverware in the Cup either and the Tak finished the season licking their wounds. Bowling was the highlight with many guys sticking their hand up, Chris Williams having a great season with the ball and picking up a great 5 for in the process.. Our batting was definitely our downside with the main batsmen failing to make their marks. Jem and Mohsin notched up a couple of fine centuries and Tiku Patidar continued on his way having a very good allround season. Anyway, as they say, that is now in the past, hopefully 08/09 season can produce some better results for us!!!
